Hear from Arcadis, Bakkavor and more at BCU apprenticeship event

Did you know apprenticeships help improve staff loyalty, fill talent gaps and provide quality skilled employees? To celebrate this week’s National Apprenticeship week (7-13 February) Birmingham City University are hosting a live webinar on 10 February at 2-3:30pm GMT with a panel of apprentice experts to explore the big questions on how your business can get the most out of apprenticeships.

Led by Birmingham City University’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter Francis, attendees will hear from a variety of businesses with successful apprenticeship records including Arcadis, BBC, Bakkavor Group, Design Buro Architects, FSE Group, National Express and the NHS.

Topics being covered include:

  • routes to onboarding new talent
  • equality, diversity and inclusion in the selection process
  • optimisation of levy
  • lifelong learning and the seamless pathway to higher level skills.

The Birmingham City University event is being supported by Birmingham Metropolitan College, Solihull College and University Centre, South and City Birmingham College and the wider Greater Birmingham and Solihull Institute of Technology.
