April 28th will see the release of the first quarter GDP estimates for 2017 by the Office of National Statistics (ONS). With recent PMI data indicating some softening of output performance, the data will give an indication of whether the immediate post-Brexit growth trajectory is sustainable.
Furthermore, PMI data continues to highlight the strength of regional output performance and we will being discussing how the ONS is developing its regional economic data series and provide the background analysis behind our latest quarterly forecasts for the region.
